For
me photography is about sharing somewhere or something which inspired
me, and hoping
|
||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
that
it might inspire others. Although my photography is very personal to
me,
|
||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
it
would not be complete without being shared.
|
||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
I
was born in 1968 and grew up in Inverness, the "capital" of
the Highlands of Scotland.
|
||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
I
have no formal training in photography and have learned everything I
know through trial and error,
|
||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
and
from being inspired by the work of other landscape and nature photographers.
|
||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Originally
trained as a graphic designer, I am attracted to simple and strong compositions,
|
||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
often
working with detail and abstract as well as the wider landscape.
|
||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
I
shoot stock photography for 2 photo agencies who market my images throughout
the UK and internationally.
|
||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
In
addition I supply material direct to magazines, design agencies and
other clients throughout the UK.
|
